Abstract:
This book is the first
comprehensive account of the Peninsula’s
termite fauna. A pictorial key facilitates identification to a generic level.
Reproductions of the author’s original line drawings illustrate more than 130
species. The book also covers notes on each species, a brief habitat
description, history of research on termites in the Peninsula
and their biogeography in the region. One of the distinguishing features of
this book is the author’s keen perception of the historical problems and
inherent difficulties of termite taxonomy.
