This directory represents mortality record of the felling of planted dipterocarp and non-dipterocarp trees or their mortality on the grounds of the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM). From the records, we are able to discern initiatives taken by the institute in its afforestation programmes since the early 1920s. Information on the names and locations of species planted as well as efforts in the rehabilitation of degraded areas is also provided.
