This book is an extended compilation of felled and uprooted trees within the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) rich grounds for a period of 7 years. The trees were felled and uprooted due to several factors such as old age, potential risk trees, dying, diseased, weather conditions and by environmental causes including lighting strikes. These records indicate FRIM’s determination in managing ageing trees and ensuring safety within the campus, which signifies the historical steps taken by the forefathers of the institute to transform an idle land to a lush green area.
