The health of FRIM forest is governed by many factors including soil and quality of the forest floor. This book showcases the various vegetation types as well as forest floor and soil properties of selected plots in mature forests, arboretum, new forests and the low lying areas. It also captures the dominant soil types in hilly areas and the soil fertility status. In summary, FRIM grounds are capable in supporting a healthy man-made forest ecosystem. This book contains five chapters that underscore the role of FRIM as a forest with cultural interactions.
