Termite is a soil-ecosystem excretion agent, found throughout the world. Although its presence is important, it has also brought a negative impact especially related to wood. Annually, a large sum of money is allocated for the maintenance of wooden buildings. Thus, understanding the life-cycle of termite is important in overcoming the problem. Protection methods include chemical treatment, baiting system and fumigation process.
