Timber Element of Proven Fire Resistant—Internal Wall III (FTI 32) Abdul Rashid Ab. Malik et al. RM3/USD3 4 pp 1991 Wood-cementboards which contain wood chips may be considered as a ‘non-combustible’ material and is expected to provide a better fire resistance compared to partitions using wood-based panel products. This article reports a fire performance test which was carried out on non-load bearing kempas timber stud partitions using 8 × 10 mm ‘Cemboard’ on both sides. |
