Technical Committee Meeting on The Capacity Building for Forestry Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) in Malaysia (CBFORM)
A Technical Committee Meeting on the Capacity Building for Forestry CDM in Malaysia (CBFORM) was held on 18th July 2007. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Norini Haron and was attended by Mr. Chin Shih Loon (Principal Assistant Secretary, Forest Divison, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment), Mr Ooi Diang Ling, Project Coordinator from Royal Danish Embassy, the Consultant, Mr. Michael Dutschke, Mr Soeran Varming and Mr. Chow Kok Kee and the CDM Forestry Secretariat members.The purpose of the meeting was to agree on all the overall project organization, on milestones, a first division of task and to create a shared understanding of the labor ahead. Additionally, technicalities of project implementation were agreed upon. It was a fruitful meeting and the various deadlines for all tasks were schedule accordingly. The committee will meet on 13th September 2007 for the second meeting.
